Welcome back to our in-studio volunteers!
We are continuing to read remotely, as we have done since March 12th, when we began our volunteers reading from home efforts. We are proud to say we continued to broadcast 24/7 throughout the past eight months and will continue to do so as long as we can afford to turn the lights on. On that subject, we could use your support. This year's state budget for supporting our efforts is very much in doubt, and without that funding, we are in danger of closing our doors permanently after 24 years of reading to the blind. Won't you please help us stay viable by sending a check? We can't keep doing this without you. You can send your donation to:
Audible Local Ledger

The Audible Local Ledger is the Cape, Islands and South Coast representative of the Massachusetts Audio Information Network or M.A.I.N., a special state-wide radio information network that provides reading to the blind and those with low vision of daily newspapers, current periodicals, shopping guides, short stories, radio plays, calendars of community events, and other material previously available to the vision impaired only in print.
The Audible Local Ledger "Turns Print into Sound" and broadcasts this material over closed-circuit radio stations, cable television audio channels and on secondary audio program channels of television stations for the blind, visually impaired, and print disabled residents of Cape Cod and the Islands. Other ways to hear our broadcast include Amazon Alexa powered speakers like the Echo Dot - simply say these exact words "Alexa, play radio station Audible Local Ledger on Tune In." We are also available on mobile devices through the free Sero app - open the app, select 'Reading Services", scroll down to Massachusetts and there we are!
To bring localized reading of news and items of interest to our listening community on the South Coast, Cape Cod and the Islands. The Audible Local Ledger is dedicated to enabling our listeners to live their lives with the greatest possible personal independence.
Every overnight/morning from 12am-6am we play the Jazz Artist Spotlight programming, which features the musical selections and biographies of brilliant artists like
Tony Bennett, Miles Davis, Esperanza Spalding, Gregory Porter, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, to name just a few.
