Do you have a love for reading? Volunteers are the core of the Audible Local Ledger. Without our volunteers, we could not possibly continue to provide our free radio reading service to individuals who are blind, visually impaired, and print disabled.
I know the benefits of being a volunteer are endless, and they will guide you to a better quality of life. Volunteer readers come from every part of society, every age group and walk of life. You can help the print disabled keep in touch with the community around them by being a volunteer reader and joining our team. I may be the Director of the Audible Local Ledger, but my volunteers are the orchestra, and they play the music. I sincerely thank each and every one of them for their dedication, which enables our listeners to live their lives with the greatest personal independence.
Would you lend your voice to the Audible Local Ledger? You'll be sharing information with hundreds of listeners throughout Cape Cod and the Islands in a unique and rewarding way. Please call Sherry Bergeron, Executive Director of the Audible Local Ledger, for more information about your role within our organization. We are located in Deer Crossing, Suite A-27 in Mashpee. I can be reached at 508-539-2030, directly at 508-539-6762 or email Info@AudibleLocalLedger.org
As a nonprofit organization, the Audible Local Ledger is supported by donations. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated, and 100% of all donations remain in the community and directly benefit our listeners.
